The Beauty in Flaws

What I’ve noticed about beauty,
It is something strange,
Such is the beauty I’ve seen,
All beauties that were never the same.

But others will tell us that
Something about us is ‘wrong’,
Telling us that we have flaws,
Things we can never get rid of.

Yet the funny thing about it is,
We never saw anything wrong with ourselves,
Not until we were convinced
Through the judgement of someone else.

Yes, our ‘flaws’ are just things they use,
To make us forget the truth,
We’re all made to be different,
So how can one thing be beautiful?
